To achieve this, Burcote Wind actively promotes sustainable community engagement models such as community trust funds, share schemes or turbine co-development. The development team actively encourages positive dialogue with local stakeholders and community councils regarding the benefits that a wind farm can bring to the local community.

Burcote Wind also recognises the value and knowledge that can be gained by working with other community groups and independent organisations that have direct experience of developing community benefits from wind energy. Such organisations can and do provide invaluable support to communities.
